INSTALLATION

Run setup program and during the installation process - insert the registration code  which you will get  by e-mail  after  PayPal  transaction confirmation.
This software requires  about 818 Mb disk space.

VERY IMPORTANT :

The install program has default path to FSX and will install the ship in this place automatically. If your FSX was installed in other place, you must to place your correct path during this process in the window as below

After installation run FSX and go to the SELECT AIRCRAFT, then adjust all column as below

START

THE FLIGHT

 In the archive file, you can find folder: FLIGHT SIMULATOR X FILES.
 Copy and paste this folder to the MY DOCUMENTS, then start Flight Simulator X.
 In the main menu choose FREE FLIGHT and click LOAD button then choose the flight: Deltasim Catamaran  - AS BELOW

 Vista users:
  C:\USERS\NAME\DOCUMENTS\

or start wherever you want - according to the scheme:

  - start with any float plane
  - land in the water where you will sail
  - stop and switch off the engine (s)
  - change the airplane with the boat
  - if you want to start from this position - save the flight
  - sail

1 -  switch on: battery if required
2 -  push F1 key to set throttle at 0  -  VERY IMPORTANT !
2 -  set main sail and after 2 seconds set foresail. ( foresail you can set and lower at the extremely left position)
3 -  drive
Coming into port:
1 -  lower sails
2 -  push F1 key
3 -  start the engine
4 - drive

And remember: before you change the model - switch off all engines and lights

DETAILS

This catamaran has very high detailed parts built on real yacht equipment. She has exceptional, animated and bulged with wind sails.




     

     

     



The boat has night illumination also. (working properly if "bloom light" is on)






CONTROLS

All gauges and switches have descriptions, all is simple and will not cause you a problem.






The boat has TV player for slideshow with music. If you have a program to convert BMP format to DDS format, you can put your own images for slideshow.
 You can listen your own music if you prepare your music.

HOW TO DO IT?

It is very simple. Go to the boat TEXTURE folder and find files that are called: slide_show01.dds - slide_show08.dds. Format is 1024x1024 pix.-images fliped (two pictures). Make your own
pictures in format 1024x512 pix (two pictures) then flip image and convert it to DXT5 dds format and replace old to new. The program ie.: DirectX texture tool (freeware).
The music has format Microsoft wav 20050 Hz 8 Bit stereo ADPCM. If you will have problems, - make mono audio (it depends on your computer). So record your music
and replace with original called: dss_cat_music.wav in boat SOUND folder. Here you get 13 music pieces, special prepared for this slideshow - for your choice.

TIPS

- To sail racing catamaran first of all - you must to learn it. The config. file is adjusted for 16 knots of wind power. To sail in lean (on the one hull) you need full speed and crosswind.
  Use joystick "Z" axis for turns and "X" axis for leans (it's necessary to give her a swing). Make fast turns gently.
- As an alternative for quick turns with leans use keys: (with NumLock off) numeric "0" -left turn , numeric ENTER - right turn and numeric "5" straight.

- Illumination working properly only if "bloom light" is on (how below)



- Please, don't manipulate the boat configuration file because changing even a single digit lead disaster which will not be corrected ( *cfg. and *air files )

- If you mix panel switches with keyboard keys the control light will lost correct relation of events, I mean, if you change a variant of boat without engine stop your new
  variant will sail without correct control light of engine (start-stop) - for lights simply push L key twice. The same concern other moving parts controlled by the switches.
  THE PRINCIPLE IS: USE SWITCHES ONLY, ALL IS CONTROLED BY THE SWITCHES ONLY!

- How to RELOAD the ship
  Go to the: SETTINGS / CONTROLS then you will see the SETTINGS - CONTROL window. Choose: BUTTON / KEYS bookmark.
  Next choose ALL EVENTS at events category and mark AIRCRAFT (reload) - how below, then make new assignment (if it is empty)
